 Scott Schafer
President and CEO
With over 20 years experience in technology and business management, Mr.
Scott Schafer is a leading expert in network infrastructure design, information
transport systems, disaster planning and recovery, and data security. He
has extensive expertise in working with executive management teams to assess
suitability of existing and planned information technology infrastructures
for current and future business needs; business continuance planning in
the event of disruption or disaster; and planning effective and secure
networks to meet business needs.
Schafer has trained with several leading firms including Cisco, Bay Networks,
and Microsoft. Additionally, he holds certifications as a MCSE (Microsoft Certified
Systems Engineer); MCNE (Master Certified NetWare Engineer with specialization
in Infrastructure and Advanced Access); RCDD (Registered Communication Distribution
Designer); US Robotics (Total Control Certified); Citrix (Certified Winframe
/ Metaframe Administrator); and IBM Best Team (DB2 Certified).
His formal education includes undergraduate degrees in physics, electrical
engineering, and mathematics and a Masters in Management of Technology (MOT).
 Alex Leone
Vice President and CTO
An experienced Information Technology (IT) Executive, Mr. Alex Leone brings
over 20 years of experience in IT Security, Networking and Disaster Recovery.
He specializes in working with clients to plan strategically for IT goals and
expenditures. Leone excels at developing technology based solutions for businesses
that are consistent with the business goals, budget and operational requirements.
Leone is well versed in all aspects of IT management and support.
Leone’s career has spanned many industries including Legal, Financial,
Health Care and Publishing.
He holds his Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering and his Masters
in Management of Technology. Alex is certified by Microsoft, Net Ware, Firewall
1 and IBM. Prior to OSI, Alex held several senior positions at Xerox, CMP
Media and Pall Corporation. Alex specializes in network operating systems
and messaging systems.
 Chaz Popovich
Vice President
A professional information technology (IT) executive, Mr. Chaz Popovich brings
a wealth of experience to OSI. His experience includes business process
engineering, IT consulting management, sales force management, and business
operations management.
Popovich has over 20 years experience as an IT Project Manager with expertise
in LAN/WAN implementation; Document Management Systems; and IT process quality
assurance. He has certifications as a Certified Knowledge Manager (CKM)
and Six Sigma Yellow Belt, and is an expert in strategic planning and management
of IT solutions.
His formal degrees include a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
and a Masters in Business Administration. Popovich has completed
additional training in QA; Knowledge and Business Process Management; Content
Management and Sarbanes Oxley Compliance.
 Maura Kiey
Director Marketing and Business Development
An expert in marketing and business development with nearly 20 years of experience,
Maura has led successful marketing and business development teams in both large
and small organizations.
Maura’s experience spans multiple vertical markets,
including publishing, information services, technology, consumer and the nonprofit
sector with expertise in marketing strategy, competitive analysis, pricing
and packaging, promotions and product development. Maura completed the Executive
Education Program at Columbia University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree
in marketing from Ramapo College.
